Dan Gembus

Fascinated by drawing from an early age, Dan always decorated his school notebooks with skulls and logos of heavy metal bands. He was mostly inspired by reading comic books and listening to alternative music. Driven by the desire to improve his illustration skills, Dan studied at the high school of fine arts and then at the academy of fine arts in Poland. He graduated with a master's degree in painting and design.

For a long time Dan worked in the advertising industry as a freelancer, but after many years of having to chase up payments, he decided to completely change his life and leave the computer desk.

Persuaded by his friends, Dan made a decision to try his hand at tattooing and has been practicing it for almost 5 years, still exploring and discovering this medium. He specializes in illustrative blackwork tattoos with a strong emphasis on the dark side of the force (but he can also create compositions with lighter side). Dan willingly takes up challenges and implements the custom ideas of his clients.

Outside of work, he enjoys running laps in a park, gravel bike rides, hikes with his sweetheart, and digging through Instagram for koala pictures.
